The Aircraft Maintenance Inspector performs all required by back inspections, general visual inspections, verifies ok to close, discrepancies for airworthiness and additional duties assigned my Maintenance Manager. Must possess IA (Inspection Authorization) to be utilized during customer annual inspections. Inspector additionally assist crew leads an technicians to ensure all paperwork and aircraft documentation is kept accurate as well current.
Ensures the maintenance operation complies with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Quality Procedures (QP), Company Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), and all reporting requirements. Conducts all quality control inspections and ensures timely completion and maintenance of records. Ensures that all maintenance operations and practices meets FAA, federal, state, and agency requirements.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities
Customer Service - Provides exceptional customer service to all General Aviation customers, suppliers, and employees - 100% customer satisfaction. Represents General Aviation in a positive, courteous, and professional manner regardless of customer requests or complaints. Ensures that customers receive correct services.
Job Qualifications
High School diploma and minimum of five years previous experience in general aviation industry. Posses and maintain valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license and FAA Inspection Authorization (IA). Must maintain a valid state driver's license.
Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Possess excellent customer relation skills.
Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills.
