As part of the Business Development team, you will report directly to the Director, Business Development. You will also interface with the CFO, executive leaders of various departments, and access to consortium analysts of the top-tier private equity firm that acquired the company, providing you with a tremendous and unparalleled growth opportunity in an exciting environment.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The primary functions of the job are to evaluate various types of capital investment opportunities utilizing financial modeling to support management decision-making:
- This role will primarily focus on lease renewals and support RFPs, M&A, and other inorganic growth projects.
- Build a pro-forma financial model for each project in Excel with multiple valuation metrics to quantify project financial returns and impacts on the company.
- Collaborate with various internal departments – Revenue Management, Real Estate, Airport Relations, Facility, Legal, and Field Operations teams to gather financial model assumptions/inputs and understand project development plan, scope, and financial implications for the model.
- Create business cases to present project summary, strategic rationale/risks, and financial output to the Executive Leadership team and Private Equity owners for approval of investments.
- Monitor and analyze businesses, market, and economic trends to provide qualitative and quantitative decision support.
- Miscellaneous project work as assigned.

Job Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business; MBA/master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years prior experience in modeling and financial analysis.
Additional knowledge and skills:
- Exceptional financial modeling/MS Excel/spreadsheet skills are a must—comfortable building, developing, and working with complex financial models.
- Independent worker and analytical thinker who can conduct research & data analysis to solve complex problems and provide thoughtful recommendations.
- Skilled in PowerPoint to prepare professional project presentations.
- Strong communication skills, ability to effectively and efficiently present projects to non-financial groups within the organization, and interface with company leadership and sellers during M&A due diligence process.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize projects with tight deadlines, and work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Strong initiatives to lead projects, be comfortable challenging the project plan and maintain professional skepticism.
- Prior aviation industry experience is preferred.
