Refueler Fleet Manager

The primary role of the Refueler Manager is to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Refueler Department that supports the EPIC and Select branded and supplied FBO dealers network throughout North America. The Manager will be expected to make sound business and operational decisions that ensure all applicable practices, policies and procedures are followed to manage the company's operational and financial risks associated with all Refueler operations. This will include Refueler Truck Sales & Leasing and associated Epic equipment. Safety performance is the top priority followed closely by financial performance and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Refueler coordination – Coordinate with FBOcustomers, Signature, EPIC/Select sales team, and Risk Management on current and future refueler needs. Maintain an updated and accurate forecast of short term and long term customer needs that includes input from EPIC/Select FBO sales team and develop and maintain robust capacity to support customer’s needs as they arise.
Provide technical input on trucks and equipment to sales and customers during the pre-sale and post-sale process.
On new refueler truck acquisitions, assist with the capital request process and ensure a PO is initiated for the designated vendor.
Ensure trucks in the manufacturing cue are earmarked to cover current and anticipated demand. Request timely intervention from senior management when there are disagreements between where newly manufactured trucks are allocated within the business.
Refueler commissioning and decommissioning – Coordinate with Epic sales and Risk Management on the commissioning and decommissioning of refuelers
Refueler movement – Coordinate with the customer, sales and Risk Management on the delivery of a refuelers. Work from a list of existing carriers that have current vetting in place. Pursue new carriers and work with the Transportation Manager to vet them.
Contractor coordination – Coordinate with repair vendors on both customer and Epic repair needs. Communicate with the repair vendors to ensure the proper repair is being made and the cost(s) for the repair is in line with expectations.
Transloading skid oversight – Oversee the time life items (meter proving, filter changes, etc.) Oversee repairs and upgrades, perform troubleshooting for the electronic meter system.
Manage existing refueler parts – Epic has a significant number of parts that are kept for unexpected needs.
Movement log – Maintain the refueler movement log and submit to sales and accounting for monthly billing.
Billing coordination – Ensure all billing needs are sent to accounting for processing in a timely manner.
Lease agreement production and refueler insurance needs – Create new lease agreements for customer review and signature. Obtain and file the proper insurance for the lease refueler. Work with sales and the customer on any proposed changes. Review all documents submit changes to legal and refueler leasing company.
Ensures that all assigned personnel are properly trained and possess the skills necessary to perform their tasks safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable standards.
Ensures that all changes to plant and equipment, vehicles, and associated refueler systems are managed appropriately.
The Refueler Manager must select, vet, and manage only vendors that can meet our safety, quality, and budget goals.
Ensures that all personnel maintain and operate equipment, tools, as perform quality work in a safe manner always utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Conducts yourself and ensure that all assigned personnel adhere to EPIC’s applicable Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security HSES) standards as well as any applicable Federal, State, or local regulations.
